Elf on the Shelf Donut Arrival
We like to keep our Elf on the Shelf Arrivals fairly simple at our house. So this is a fun (and easy) way to welcome your Elf back! Just grab some donuts and this free arrival letter and you’re all set!
For us, having donuts for breakfast is a TREAT, so the kids don’t mind that this is pretty much all he is doing on the first morning. They’re just excited to have their Elf back and to brainstorm ALL of the crazy things that he is going to do this year!

I’m not necessarily counting down the days until our Elf on the Shelf comes back, but at least with these arrival ideas, I have the first day covered!!
I also read a great tip: Set an alarm on your phone for a time each night after your kids go to bed so that you don’t FORGET to move your Elf on the Shelf. If I had a nickel for every time I was almost asleep during the Christmas season and then had to get out of my warm bed to move him!
Even if it isn’t close to Christmas, just set it now and you won’t have to worry about it again!! Anything we can do to make Elf on the Shelf season simpler and easier, I am ALL for!
