When my Aunt came across this dress pattern AND offered to make dresses for our girls with it, I was like: YES PLEASE!
Dana from MADE was kind enough to send us the pattern to try out. What is neat is that is actually a pdf that you print and assemble. But don’t let the 46 page count deter you, it was actually really simple and Dana includes GREAT step by step directions.

The Material
I actually found this material at Walmart. I was looking for something that would work for Easter, but that wasn’t too “girly” so I could coordinate the boys’ outfits to match as well. So here it is!
The girls LOVE, LOVE, LOVE their new dresses! The sizing turned out to be right on with what they normally wear. Here is our 3-year old Maggie:
My Aunt’s favorite part is that there is an option to line all of the tops and dresses that you make with this pattern (I love that, too!):
And how cute is the back with the button secured by elastic chord:
Needless to say our 5-year old Adeline enjoyed her chance to model as well:
The dresses are PERFECT for twirling and the girls have worn them every day since they received them to practice their dance routines in ;)
Usually we put on ballet music…but once and awhile we mix in “Shake it Off”… ;)
Dana has TONS of fun projects, be sure to stop by MADE and check them out!
